Back to School Welcome Banner

A few days ago, @TeachLoveGrow posted an Instagram picture showing a super cute banner she was creating. She was using a notebook paper pennant banner she found at Target’s Dollar Spot and adding her own scrapbook stickers. So naturally I immediately jumped into my car and drove to Target, ready to grab said super cute notebook paper pennant banner. And naturally my Target did not have it. Enter: my own super cute notebook paper pennant banner.
I’ve put it up on Teachers Pay Teachers so you can make one, too!
There are four versions available in this bundle. The first three are what you see above, with modifications. You can print one out that has very light slit marks on the top-use an Exacto knife to slit them and slide a piece of flat ribbon through them. You can also print one out that has light dots at the top-hole punch them and thread a piece of twinethrough them. Lastly, you can print out a plain version and just tape or staple the pages to the wall.
The last version is a blank, editable document that allows you to place your own letters on the notebook paper. Not a fan of ‘Welcome!’? Create your own! ‘Room 10’, ‘Mrs. Uppman’, ‘You’re Here!’-whatever strikes your fancy!
I hung mine on the bulletin board right outside of my door-not sure what else I’m going to put on the board yet, but I love the classy simplicity of this decoration. I’d love to see what you do with yours-grab it here!
