End of the Year Tradition: Signature Frame
The other day I was strolling through Micheals when I saw a large display of ‘Class of 2015’ signature frames.
It got my brain a-churnin’.
What if I had all my kiddos, MY Class of 2015, sign one of these frames? And put a picture of them in the middle? That would be such a nice memento of our incredible year together.
Buuuuut, being the Type-A personality I am, I worried about not having a frame from last year, my first year at this school.
Lucky for me, the frames were Buy One, Get One Free. Whoo-hoo! I grabbed one for this year’s kiddos to sign…..
….and one that I could modify for last year’s class. To keep a uniformity to the pictures year after year, I decided to go with the free classroom composite picture they give us each spring. Because I didn’t have last year’s kiddos to sign the frame, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out their names, and I also replaced ‘2015’ with a ‘2014’ design.
The custodian hung them for me today above my desk area. I just love them! Each year, I’ll grab another frame, put in the annual composite picture, and have the kiddos sign the matting.
Easy peasy, and I think it will look awesome after a few years, when the frames are starting to go around the top of my wall!
Quick! Run to Micheals and grab a frame or two! Maybe they’re even on clearance now… 😉
