OMG. How many times have you heard ‘This is off topic, but…..’ from your students?!?

Finally, FINALLY I have a solution, thanks to A Touch of Class! Stephanie made this super cute ‘I Mustache You A Question’ bulletin board set for kiddos to write their questions on for future research.

Make a bunch of copies of the template, which contains a spot for the question, a spot for the research, and a spot for the source. Stick them in a magnet on the front board for kiddos to grab. I shrunk mine to 80% on the copy machine, put them on cardstock and then chopped off the extra white border.

When kiddos want to ask that burning question about water evaporation on Neptune and you a) don’t have time to go into that or b) don’t know the answer because you’re not Google, direct them to grab one of these template to fill out.

Then take a picture of all your kiddos with a mustache and put them on clothespins. When the students turn in their filled-out templates, simply clip them in their clips!

Make sure to put this display in the hallway so other kiddos can read all the super interesting questions your kids come up with and answer, like who has the most YouTube views, or who invented the toilet. Because, seriously, this is what is occupying our students’ minds while we’re trying to teach them how to divide fractions.

Grab your own copy here, and then send Stephanie some love with great feedback! You rock, A Touch of Class!!

PS-Make sure it’s on a real bulletin board. Or else your hot glued command hooks will take a death dive over the weekend and you’ll walk into this mess. True story.
